Winin Palm

(Veitchia Winin)

The Winin is the taller of the Veitchias. It is a nice addition to the tropical landscape and can be found as a single trunk or in multiples, but is a solitary by nature. It has a very tall, solitary trunk, an open canopy of stiff, arching, feathery fronds and a prominent green crownshaft. It is popular in cultivation and requires an open, sunny aspect in subtropical to tropical climates.
