Montgomery Palm

(Veichia Montgomeryana)

The Montgomery makes a stately appearance in the tropical landscape. Its dark green fronds stay slightly above the crownshaft and its wide ringed bases are similar to other Veitchias. It has a prominent crownshaft and long finely divided, pinnate fronds. The Montgomery Palm is popular for the landscaping in tropical and subtropical climates and prefers open sunny locations with good irrigation.
