Because of its graceful and small nature this palm is very popular for use in residential yards. Although single trunk by nature this palm is commonly planted in multiple trunks. It works well in small areas and can be used in large containers. This great small palm has a slender trunk and a compact crown of arching pinnate fronds. It is adaptable and grows in low or high light conditions in tropical to temperate areas. An excellent small landscaping palm.
