The Queen Palms large graceful canopy quickly fills the landscape making it a wonderful addition to the tropical landscape. This popular palm is cold hardy and has very few pest or disease problems so this fast grower is a wonderful staple in the tropical landscape. The Queen Palm likes rich moist soil, although it will tolerate some drought conditions, it does best with regular irrigation and fertilization. The Queen Palm is among the most beautiful, tropical –looking palms that can be grown outside of the true tropical areas, such as Orlando and surrounding areas.
