The small stature and interesting frond stem base pattern on the trunk make this a striking specimen for smaller landscapes and gardens. The Arikury palm grows well in and actually prefers partial shade. This palm has dark green thick fronds, pinnate in form that cascade the trunk making for an especially full head. The Arikury palm looks great planted in groupings as an understory palm or by itself as a single specimen among other tall solitary palms.
